The Munchkins and I are on a road trip. Yesterday brought 15 hours crammed in the car, a late night drive though a raging thunderstorm and more than a few thinly-stretched nerves.
This morning brought fragrant hot coffee, thick white towels after a hot shower and high speed internet. How did people travel even a hundred years ago? I can't imagine sheltering in a covered wagon after a jarring day's ride, eating cornmeal mush over a campfire and swatting mosquitoes though the night. Can you tell that I am feeling grateful today? :)
