Well, it's been a while. Like a whole LOT of while. Is anyone out there
from the old blog days? If so, it would be mighty fine to see you.
Rather a lot ...

Try To Follow Along
I have 2 children and 1 sibling. But I grew up as an only child.
This is me and my favorite sister, Rene. We are visiting her this week.
This is my sister with my children. They are very close.
My Munchkins are 7 years apart and my sister is 7 years older than my daughter.
Confused yet?
I was 17 and almost ready to leave the nest when my sister was born. Now my children's Aunt is more like their sibling. Except she's MY sibling.
Do you get it? It's a little unusual, but entirely wonderful.

What a wonderful family tree...Miss Munchkin and Rene could pass for twins...
My DH is 15 yrs older than his little sister...she sometimes seems like one of my kids more than a SIL
Oh one of those "oops" moments hey? But how fun for your kids to have such a young aunt!
Stephanie - I think they look alike too. When they wear their matching shirts and both have their hair up, I have to do a triple take!
DVM's Wife - We think of Rene as more of a blessing than an "oops". And you're right - it IS fun for my kids to have a hip, cool fun Aunt. :)
What a beautiful family! My sister is 7 years younger that I am. She's also been a terrific aunt to our kids.
Blessings,
Cindy
I am soooooo happy that YOU are in the photos!!!! All of you for certain share the same gene pool.
In thee my soul shall own combined the sister and the friend.

Your post makes me miss my sister desperately today - and love her even more. Thank you for the inspiration!

PS::So glad to see you today!
Cindy - 7 must be a lucky number! :)
LOVE the quote, Camie, thanks for sharing it!
April, you are the Queen of posing with your sister. I'm learning from the best! ;)
We had one of those crazy families living across the street from us when we were kids. The couple had their own two children plus the wife's youngest brother living with them. And her brother was a year younger than her oldest son. So the two boys grew up as brothers, but the younger boy was the uncle to the older one.
I remember it took me a while to get my head around that one when the brother moved in...
They're all beautiful! : )
My youngest sister is 15 years younger than I am, and 3 years older than my oldest son. She feels like one of my own children most of the time, and is the only person my teenage son will confide in now...so I get the scoop from her! LOL!
Jo, that's VERY unusual. And kind of cool!
Amy, so you know what I'm talking about. How many siblings do you have altogether?
I love that Rene and my daughter are close like that. It's been a blessing!
Awwwww! :)
It's wonderful :o)
