Well, it's been a while. Like a whole LOT of while. Is anyone out there
from the old blog days? If so, it would be mighty fine to see you.
Rather a lot ...

The (Temporary) End of the Wolfman
Our school had their fundraising auction last night. I can't wait to tell you what I came home with!
My van needs new tires so I bid on 4 new tires (installed) from a local donor. And won them for 1/2 the price I would have paid at the store! I am so thrilled. And, with the money I "saved", I came home with a 3 month's woman's gym membership (Wolfman, you know I'll miss you!), a beautiful Kichler lamp, guitar lessons for Miss Munchkin, a personal training session with a professional fitness guy and an entire chocolate chip pumpkin cheesecake.
Ok, so I realize that the cheesecake totally cancels out the gym membership. But still.
And my favorite part: all the money goes to the school.
My least favorite part: April made me get in in front of over 400 people and expected me to touch my, well, my bottom. But that's another story.

You were very cute when you had to touch your..well...um...bottom :)
That's some great loot!
First time I've visited your blog, no it's the second (!), but i've gone back and read the wolfman story which is so funny, yet creepy! Congrats on winning a way out from wolfman. I am a librarian and I well know that creepy feeling when you encounter characters like him. I have long admired your photos on April's blog and now I am going to bookmark your blog so that I can read you daily!
Ugh, Lindsay, I hate being up in front of people! You are very kind.
Fran, I'm so glad you came to visit; Thanks for letting me know. I love books and wanted to be a librarian when I was a little girl. Now, once a week, I get to volunteer at my children's school library and I love it. The thrill that comes with helping a child find the perfect book - there's nothing like it! :)
Your butt was very cute in your denim skirt!
It's good that you have a friend like April who pulls you out of your comfort zone.
I'm pretty sure she felt the same way when you were dragging her to the am exercising.
What is it with you people and touching backsides? First MM, then PW, now April.....I am really getting concerned...;)
Karen
Alisa, I like my comfort zone, thank you. I think I'd like to stay there a bit longer.
And K, it does seem to be a disturbing trend, doesn't it?!
Oh rats - no more Wolfman stories?! I hope this doesn't mean I'll have to work more hours at the gym to get my crazy gym story fix...
Hannah, don't worry. I have more interesting exercise stories! I'll post one for you soon. :)
