And it's all over! The happiness is crazy and the thankfulness is huge.
Went down with Husband, picking up Daughter on the way.
Beautiful, beautiful morning....

Numb3rs
12 - the number of chigger bites I have
48 - how many minutes I spent discreetly scratching today
$750 - the amount I made at our early morning garage sale
10 - tubs of unwanted stuff sitting in my van
27 - the number of cups of lemonaid that spilled on my kitchen floor this afternoon, just moments before Company arrived and mere minutes after the water stopped working in our whole house
9 - how many bath towels it takes to soak up 27 cups of lemonaid
11 - the number of thirsty friends who came to visit
4 - the number of minutes until my head hits the pillow
2:30 - the time my alarm is set to take Puppy for his nightly piddle

Those are some impressive numbers!
I'm not familiar with that show, but I do know that one of my running mate's husband (they are also neighbors of ours!) is a consultant (mathematician) for that show and/or has helped write some of that material! Isn't that fun! ;D
You scored on your garage sale. I'm lucky to make a third that much.
Kaele - that's very cool!
Jen - I had an embarrassing amount of stuff plus a few big ticket items. Dave Ramsey says to sell so much that the kids wonder if they are next!
Oohh, that garage sale money would make a nice camera lens!;)
This was funny to read. Sounds like you've had an interesting few days!
Your day reminded me of mine. Trying desperately to get "must dos" done in garden while having on and off showers, two batches of drop-in visitors, baking a pie, a quick, necessary run to town, etc. At one point I sat in the dirt in the garden and said, "Why am I working so hard? I could be in the hammock reading." (Well, maybe not with the rain, visitors, etc.) But just as yours was an interesting, fruitful day, so was mine. Wouldn't trade it.
I'm a fairly new reader of your blog and am enjoying it very much.
I have you beat on the number of chiggers : ) but thankgoodness not on the lemonade one! Cute post.
Did somebody say lens?
Mama Pea, I'm glad you have had time to come by and "visit" me. Drop in anytime!
Ooo, I feel for you Blind Pig. I think I'd rather have a huge, sticky mess than a few more chigger bites!
COngrats on your profits! I'm amassing my garage sale pile... i don't enjoy having them... but I'm looking forward to paring back the clutter!
Oh Honey, this makes me itchy and sticky.
