Wow. I'm peering into this old blog and can see a few cobwebs and spiders
lurking. Time to blow them off, shoo them out and get writing again.
To my delight...

Belt Testing
This week the Munchkins and I are testing for our next belt in martial arts. Master Munchkin is testing for his brown and Miss M and I are going for our High Brown belts (brown with a black stripe). I think I'm ready except my tornado kick is still pretty sad. It's sort of like an F1 on the Fujita Scale. And it can only twist one way. :(
Wish me luck!

I can't believe how often you test! My goal is to test as little as possible. I've tested once a year to this point, but I have no intentions of testing again this fall. Good luck, and don't break anything!
Yes, we test every 3 months for a new belt. I think it helps keep the kids motivated. But our tests are nothing like yours. Ours are basically a hard class that makes sure you know the new material that you've learned over the past 3 months. Yours are hours of torture! I don't think I could pass a real KM test.
good luck!
I just watched that tornado kick video again. Man that looks like a challenge with the foot work. Good luck to you!
Huh. I had no idea the testing was that different. Maybe I *could* pull that off. But you know, I'm pretty happy just learning stuff without worrying about testing. :)
