A Gift

Things will probably be pretty quiet here at All Astonishment for a bit. It seems that my Crohn's Disease, which has been in remission for the past 2 years, is trying to make a comeback. I need to devote my dwindling energy to healing right now. And napping. Lots of napping.

I'll be back as soon as I can. In the meantime, feel free to browse the archives or just sit and stare into space. Take care and be grateful if you are feeling healthy. It really is a gift.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. I have a friend with Crohn's disease, and it's no fun at all. Take lots of naps and pamper yourself, and have those Munchkins take care of you for a change!

I'm sorry. Forced napping sounds like a the best medicine. Take care of yourself and I bet your little munchkins will step up to the plate and help you out! It's amazing how tender hearted they are when Mama's down. Blessings on your head. :) xo

So, so sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. A chronic illness can be a debilitating thing in so many different ways. We, as women, need to learn how to take better care of ourselves. Not always the easiest thing to do because, let's face it, we are the care-givers, the nurturers for everyone else.

The body has a fantastic ability to heal itself. I believe that positive imaging and lots and lots of appreciation for all the things in our lives we have to be grateful for can work wonders. (Stepping down off of soap box now.)

Give yourself this time to heal, and please bounce back soon.

Not wanting to pile heaps of coals on the head, but selfishly, I'm missing you already.

Hoping you're reading this after a nice long nap...

Missing your posts but am glad to see you're doing what needs to be done. I know it's hard to believe it when you're in the middle of something like you are but this will pass and you'll be feeling good again shortly . . . and won't that be wonderful! Continue to take care of yourself.
