Well, it's been a while. Like a whole LOT of while. Is anyone out there
from the old blog days? If so, it would be mighty fine to see you.
Rather a lot ...

Jammin'
I fell in love with these adorable jars of jam the first time I saw them. I was browsing through a European grocery store, searching for a unique gift for a friend when I saw them sitting on the shelf. Simple, yet deliciously elegant. "Perfect!" I thought, and scooped one into my basket.
Fast forward a few weeks: I was shopping at my regular grocery store when I spotted something familiar on the shelf. My French jam! My unique and one-of-a-kind gift! After I recovered somewhat from my shock and denial, I decided I'd better buy one. To keep in the pantry for company, of course.
Fast forward a few days: I licked the last of the thick, red gooey goodness directly off of the plate. After all, I told myself, it would be rude to offer guests something that I hadn't actually tried myself. What if it was horrid? Um, it wasn't. It was the richest, sweetest, yummiest jam that I have ever tasted. I hid the jar in the back of the fridge and polished it off in 3 days.
If you are hankering for some very good French, not-so-unique or hard-to-find jam, I heard that they are offering it in select Walmart stores now. Ack! I can't believe I got my friend some Walmart jam for a gift!

Oh, I love that jam! Or should I not mention we get it at our local Whole Foods Market?
No, you should not mention that you can get it in any way, shape or form unless you go to Europe yourself! It makes them much more interesting.
By the way, (whispering) Amazon sells these jars in bulk and right now you can get 20% off with the code BONAM99.
I love these jams. They are delicious. The jars are quite cute as well, I'm currently using one to store my buttons in and they look very cute in there.
Does my local grocery store count as Europe? Sometimes, the French cashier is very hard to understand.
I don't think your friend knew that until just now. She is so proud of you for going to Wal-Blart.
Also, you should know that your friend will not share that jam with her children.

Alisa, I love your idea about saving the jars! I threw the lid away, which makes it much less cute. Must buy another jar full of jam right way to remedy!
