Each Fall our house is invaded by hundreds of Asian beetles. They look like harmless Lady Bugs, but they aren't. These guys can bite! They swarm our house and try to seep in every crack and entrance. I sat down on the front porch and had several on me within minutes.
Well, it's been a while. Like a whole LOT of while. Is anyone out there
from the old blog days? If so, it would be mighty fine to see you.
Rather a lot ...

Same here. On Friday afternoon, our 'schoolroom' was invaded. Now they have huddled in groups in the four corners of the ceiling. Why do they do that??
Ann, I think they are looking for a warm place to winter.
Ugh. They are annoying. At least you got a good photo (love the contrast with the denim!) of one because otherwise they're only good at making a person crazy.
And yeah, what is up with the corner thing? They make a gross sound when i suck them up with my vacuum.
I'm glad to hear you confirm the biting thing. My west-coast family doesn't believe me (until they come here and get bitten!).
