Nonchalant

I fear that my kitchen counter currently looks similar to the state of my brain - cluttered and disorganized creative. One of the things that jumps out the most are my various sticky notes. When I am sitting at my computer and have a thought that I need to remember, I quickly jot it down on the nearest piece of paper. From where I sit, I can currently see 9 brightly colored squares, all containing cryptic messages such as:
art room - back corner, foam core - all the white ones

Atlas 25 yr Weathermaster ST

breakfast teachers OJ & bagels & CC

English walnuts, brocolli, bandaids

Just a few minutes ago, I heard a strange sound in the morning silence.

Pad swish
pad swish
pad swish swish!

Our prissy kitty just walked by with a bright orange sticky note stuck to her back leg. She was trying very hard to look nonchalant, but every few steps she would violently shake her leg, trying to dislodge the persistent hitchhiker. She eventually limped/swished into the laundry room and emerged noteless. I'd better go track it down - it probably has something important on it. I hope it's not in the litter box.

Too funny, this made me laugh.
I write myself notes like that and then I can't remember what they mean.
