Stretched

stout
If you’ve ever sold a house, you know how crazy things can get!

Right now we’re in the Fix-Up-All-the-Things-We’ve-Let-Go-the-Last-Seven-Years-All-in-One-Week stage.  I am feeling a bit overwhelmed.  I am alternating between cleaning, packing, doing yard work, dealing with Gutter Guys, Bankers, Roofers, Realtors, Handymen and Painters, and consuming large amounts of tea and cinnamon-sugar toast and wanting to curl up in bed and nap until it’s all over.

Oh, and I have a cold.

On the upside, I have a photoshoot with a dear family tonight.  I am really looking forward to getting out of my house for a bit and just having some fun with them.  We're heading to the red barn.

And tonight I get to choose the winner of Hip Mom Jewelry's camera necklace.  Yea!

Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I can just squeeze in a cup of tea and a nap before I tackle those dings on the wall in the basement...

Hang in there, I've been through it twice! What is nice, is your house will be in perfect condition. It felt so good to get everything fixed, purged and clean. Oh, and eat as much cinnamon toast as you want, I remembering losing ten pound on the first round. ;D Hee, hee!

Thanks Dawn. I could stand to loose 10 pounds. Or 30. :P

When and where are you moving to? We haven't even gotten together yet!

We're just moving into town. But we still need to get together!

That is the main reason I am in no hurry to sell my house for something better!
Now, if it were a nice house in the country, that would be worth it.
Good luck and hope your journey is smooth sailing!

Just slip a little somethin' somethin' into that tea - it oughta perk you right up!

Thinking of you on this crazy day!

Thanks everyone. Last night I had a little melt-down. A few tears, a few hours of being awake in the middle of the night, finally a few prayers and now I am feeling much better. I did, however, have to apologize to MrMama, for some ugly words said over the course of the last few days!

Good luck with all of your chores. And remember that once you move, even though it's in the same area, it can be discombobulating. I moved 25 minutes from where I had lived for eight years and it threw me for a loop. I'm glad I did it though. Not trying to be negative. :)
