Well, it's been a while. Like a whole LOT of while. Is anyone out there
from the old blog days? If so, it would be mighty fine to see you.
Rather a lot ...

MrsMama does the Happy Dance
After a month or so of intermittent washing machine problems, the beast is now working again! It got to the point where I was mooching off of my friends and family for clean clothes. A sweet lady invited me over for tea on Saturday and I showed up at her door holding a basket of delicates. Isn't that awful?! And when my MIL stopped by to pick up Master Munchkin for an overnight, guess what I sent along? No, I won't say it - it's too embarrassing!
I never thought I'd be so happy to be doing laundry again. I am entirely ecstatic. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go bury my nose in a warm load of freshly dried towels.

I am glad. Have fun doing laundry now ;-)
There is so much in our abundant lives that we take for granted . . . until we don't have them anymore.
I went through the washer working, washer not working game about a year ago and then ended up having to haul everything to the laundromat (hear blood curdling scream) for about a month.
Since then I've been sooooo grateful to have the luxury of my very own washer and dryer in my very own home.
It's the little things. (That are really BIG things, I think!)
Now let's see more of that cute little Happy Dance of yours.
Did you Krav Maga into final submission?
How I wish we lived closer together - I would have loved to have you over to wash and we could chat over coffee while waiting...
7D - I will! At least for quite a while...
Mama Pea, you've really been there, done that, haven't you? I'm glad someone understands my absurd happiness. :)
Cami, Krav Maga is part of what causes me to have to do so much laundry! We need to wear our "uniform" - track pants and a tee - and they sure get sweaty.
I would love, love, love to come do laundry at your house. That would be a special treat! :)
Oh, I feel you. My washing machine was down for a week and it was tragic. I'd forgotten how much it sucks not to have working laundry facilities in the house. :P
