Miss Munchkin was telling me about a complement a teacher gave her today.
"She said that I was smart and that I was doing great in Latin. (thoughtful pause) I always thought that I was just average. And everyone else was below average."
It is often difficult for the more intelligent people in the world to really "feel" for the lesser intelligent. Trust me, living in my family it is something I'm forced to deal with daily. The 3 of them are always making fun of my stupidity. Hee Good for her! She's having a great week. Latin, pictures, what's next? Brain surgery? You parents are doing well with her. Keep up the great work because we all know behind every brilliant child is a tired mom and dad.

No brain surgery, but tomorrow she IS going to an auto mechanics class. How cool is that? The most exciting thing I did in school was attend choir.
Well, at least you don't need to worry about boosting her confidence.
I love that girl. Tell her she has nice hair for me.
