Well, it's been a while. Like a whole LOT of while. Is anyone out there
from the old blog days? If so, it would be mighty fine to see you.

In Which MrsMama Makes a Change
After 3 years of using my Nikon d80, I am upgrading to a new camera. I have done a lot of reading and research and have decided to invest in the Nikon d700. I am particularly excited about its ability to take pictures in low light. If you are familiar with the fabulous Miz Booshay, this is the camera she uses.
I want to give a shout out to MrMama, my husband. He has given me the opportunity to pursue my passion for photography and has been incredibly supportive and encouraging from the moment I told him I wanted to get my first camera. I couldn't do what I do without him.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I must return to pressing my nose up against the window. I don't want to miss the UPS truck!

Lucky girl! Just in time for that baby! I am vaguely considering upgrading, I may have to check it out. Although, I'm coming from Canon, so not sure I could make the switch.
Have so much fun playing with it. I can't wait to see what you do with it!
It ain't easy bein' green - as in green with envy. Jealous, jealous again....
And my nose is pressed against the window, waiting for the UPS man to pull up and deliver...wait for it, wait for it...that's right! BUTKUS!
Oh yeah, happy days, happy days...
:)
Along with the wonderful iso...you will find the wb lovely and the focus quick and sharp.
You will also get a really sweet bicep from carrying it around :o)
How fun!
Weeeeeeee! I'm so excited for you...oh my goodness. I can't wait to see.
Thanks for cheering me on. I'm a little nervous about trying to learn a whole set of new buttons! :)
You'll do great - just like always!
So exciting!!!
(P.S. I missed you when I visited the Phillips. I saw your husband and daughter at church.)
Melanie, I'm sorry I missed you! You'll just have to come back. :)
